Underground Distribution Design
Our underground and subdivision design processes are a coordinated effort with all stakeholders ensuring conflicts are resolved during design and not construction, and for Developer’s also includes comprehensive contract administration services, navigating the local distribution company’s conditions of service and preparing MC/PUCC approval drawings.
Rebuilds and Voltage Conversions
For both overhead and underground rebuilds, our experienced team will work with both your asset management and operations groups, to assist in identifying assets that may be suitable for re-use and engineering practicable design plans that facilitate efficient construction.
Master Planning
New development electrical master planning, including identifying key points of distribution grid connection, existing distribution infrastructure assessment to identify potential upgrades to support the new development, and coordination with all utilities to maximize design efficiencies and development profitability.
Contract Administration
As Owner’s Engineer, our team will promote a collaborative contract administration approach with all stakeholders resulting in the Developer, Engineer and Contractor functioning as a single, cohesive unit, where we would manage all aspects equipment specification and tendering, contract development and administration, and construction management and invoicing on the Owner’s/Developer’s behalf.
Illumination Design
With each project our design team is diligent in sourcing new and more efficacious luminaires to reduce operational costs, and offers IES compliant roadway, parking lot, and paths/parkway designs, inclusive of product specification and electrical schematics.
Third Party Permitting
By using designers experienced in both hydro utility and telecommunication third party permit application design, we will be able to identify costly make ready before design and application submission, and offer cost-effective alternatives, ultimately expediting permit application design, submission, and approval for construction.
FTTH Design
Whether it’s comprehensive design services from node to home including splicing plans and all infrastructure design, or limited to strand and cable on pole or cable in conduit in ground, our expertise in working with LDCs and municipalities in acquiring approvals and consents will prove invaluable in maintaining your build construction schedule.
